Multidisciplinary consultancy and engineering firm Iv-Groep (a HB Capital portfolio company) has reached agreement with Dura Vermeer about an intended takeover of engineering firm Advin B.V. This concerns the external activities of Advin in the field of infrastructure installations, spatial information and traffic engineering and regional infrastructure. With the acquisition, 55 employees will transfer to Iv-Groep.
“Advin becomes part of Iv-Infra, the infrastructure division within Iv-Groep. With the acquisition of Advin we strengthen our knowledge within the Infrastructure Division in the field of traffic engineering, infrastructure installations and measuring spatially. We also have a position in the regional infrastructure within the region South of the Netherlands. The activities of Iv-Infra and Advin complement each other perfectly. We are convinced that both customers and employees benefit from this acquisition, by giving them access to the combined knowledge of Advin and Iv-Groep. We therefore have all trust that the acquisition is the right step for both companies “, says Rob van Bodegraven, director Iv-Infra.
Iv-Groep and Advin have a long history with each other and have been working together since 2003. Interests of employees and customers of Advin are guaranteed with the acquisition for the long term.
