The acquisition of Dutch companies BK Cookware and Koninklijke Van Kempen & Begeer by The Cookware Company has been finalized.

The Cookware Company, based in Belgium, paid EUR 10.75 in cash for the two companies.

BK Cookware develops and produces cookware and cutlery under the labels BK and Gero. BK Cookware has built up a very strong position on the Dutch market with its premium brand “BK”.

Koninklijke Van Kempen & Begeer – founded in 1789 – is an exclusive brand of silver and silver plated table cutlery.

Royal Delft wanted to sell the two units in order to focus completely on the manufacturing of pottery.

Hemingway Corporate Finance acted as financial advisor to seller.
